Programs and Classes

We're back home!

  • Project Performing Arts is back on site at the Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Community Center with our foundational classes. PPA's foundational classes provide continued exposure to the performing  arts to our younger students in addition to advanced training classes  for ages 12 and older. These classes provide continued exposure to the  performing arts in addition to advanced training. The program offers a curriculum that lays the foundation for a student’s consistent technical  development, and artistic, creative, and stylistic exploration. Classes  in West African Dance and West African Drumming, Jazz and Modern Dance,  Ballet, TEEN Hip Hop, Broadway Styles, and Young Actors on the Move are the springboard for a student’s talent, progress and potential. The intention of each class is to balance a student’s acquired technical skills with their creative and  artistic understanding while encouraging them to challenge themselves.  We hope that all class experiences are the building block for future  study while developing a student’s confidence and empowering them in  their ability and capabilities.
